    The ATC-100 optical refractometer is a device for determining the sugar content in wine decoction or the specific gravity of the wort during beer brewing, used both by winemakers and in the brewing industry.

    ✍️It has two scales:

    • BRIX - sugar density, a measure of the ratio of the mass of sucrose dissolved in water to the mass of the liquid, from 0% to 32% ;.

    ⚡️ Measurements with a refractometer are quick and easy to perform. Only 2-3 drops of solution are needed for measurement. The refractometer does not contain any electronic components. The density of a solution is determined by measuring the degree of refraction of light in the solution.

    The accuracy of a refractometer is based on measuring the refractive index of a liquid containing sugar, which is proportional to the concentration of sugar in the liquid. This allows the sugar content in a solution to be determined with great accuracy. It is an ideal refractometer for winemakers and brewers.

    ⚠️ The refractometer is equipped with automatic temperature compensation (ATC), which means that measurements can be taken at ambient temperatures between 10-30°C without affecting the accuracy of the measurements.

    ⚙️ Refractometer Features:

    • It works without batteries or other electronic components, sugar content and density are measured by measuring the amount of light refraction in the tested liquid;
    • Easy calibration - all you need is 2-3 drops of distilled water and the included screwdriver;
    • The eyepiece has diopter adjustment - turn the eyepiece knob to adjust the focus;
