pH meters are initially calibrated at the factory before shipment. However, their settings may change due to factors such as vibration, temperature, humidity, transport and storage conditions, measurement intensity, and electrode wear.

✍️Why calibration is important:

To ensure high analytical accuracy and, most importantly, reliable readings, it is recommended to regularly calibrate your pH meter. Manufacturers offer calibration buffers in liquid or powder form. A more economical and convenient solution is a calibration mixture in dry powder form. This powder consists of a mixture of reagents and allows for pH measurement accuracy down to hundredths of a pH unit. Each package contains 2 grams of powder, which is enough to prepare 250 ml of buffer solution.

Manufacturer's recommendation:

Manufacturers often recommend calibrating at least two pH levels. Our kit offers the two most common pH levels for calibrating a pH meter: 4.01 and 6.86.
